Our Vision

New Horizons Community Charter School (NHCCS) is a K-8 institution serving over 600 students with a 15:1 class size ratio. Focused on creating a safe, inclusive, and healing-centered learning environment, NHCCS emphasizes trauma-informed practices and a whole-child approach to address students' social, emotional, and academic needs. Staff benefit from ongoing professional development, while families and local partners collaborate to provide resources and experiences for the community.

New Horizons Community Charter School integrates technology to enhance education, equipping classrooms with SMART Boards, ELMO Document Cameras, and a 1:1 laptop program. Students engage in exploratory electives such as Art, Music, Technology, and World Language, supported by a state-of-the-art tech lab. The school prioritizes data-driven instruction to close achievement gaps and prepares students for college, career, and societal contributions. NHCCS is committed to excellence, fostering a collaborative community where all children thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
